You Can Learn German Fast

It's very easy for an English speaker to say stupid things in German if you try to learn the language from a book! Before you take that trip to Germany or any other German speaking country in Europe, you'll want to have practiced your German conversational skills with a trusted source before you do. Read my tips and tricks below and discover how you can learn to speak German fast in no time.

It's really not as difficult as you might think. Part of learning any language is cultivating a good ear. Listen to native German speakers as they talk. You will discover that many German sounds, sound totally different from their English rival. "Th" in German is pronounced like an English "T." The letter "G" is never soft, either. Features like this make German sound harsh and hard to the English ear but the more you listen and identify them, the easier it will be for you to learn German fast, because you're internalizing the sound of the language.

Go buy or rent a DVD starring an actor or actress that speak English with a German accent. Practice speaking some of the actor's lines, mimicking the accent as closely as possible. You're still speaking English but you're using your newly-trained ear to teach yourself what German feels like on the tongue. This familiarity with the feel of German will help you learn German fast, much faster than you would if the language felt completely strange to you.

Of course, neither of those steps really teaches you German. For that you need some kind of course. Many people nowadays enjoy online learning, because they can study at their own pace and repeat lessons until they've mastered them. Others prefer learning from CDs or through taking a class. Whichever way you choose to study, however, make sure your coursework emphasizes oral conversation. Learning German is a dynamic activity, and you can't learn to speak the language from a book because the book can't speak back. You will learn German fast only if you speak it and hear it spoken.

Please take note of this very important tip as you learn to speak German: remember that all German nouns have genders they are either masculine, feminine, or neuter. This isn't something we have to worry about in English, so gendered nouns may be new to you. Masculine nouns include dog (der Hund) and coat (der Mantel). Feminine nouns include blanket (die Decke) and vacation (die Ferien). Neuter nouns include house (das Haus) and pig (das Schwein). As you can see, the article "the" can be translated as either "der," "die," or "das" depending upon the gender of the noun it accompanies. There's no way to predict whether a noun is going to be masculine, feminine, or neuter, so if you want to learn German fast, always remember to learn the proper article at the same time you learn the noun.

Here is my final and most important tip how to learn the German language fast: I recommend you make a German friend so that you can practice having a German conversation whenever you have the opportunity to do so! Dialogues on tapes or CDs are great, but to really get the feel of a language, you need to speak it just as you would your own. For that you need a partner. You'll not only learn German fast that way, but you'll improve your social life at the same time!

The story, Without Fail, starts off as Reacher drifts in Atlantic City as driver of a car he hitched a lift in way back in California. Unbeknown to him is is being tracked by the head of security for the newly elected Vice-President of the USA. The Vice-President is being threatened with assasination and the lady in charge of his security from the Secret Service, turns to Reacher, brother of her earlier lover, for help.

Reacher accepts her offer and recruits Neagley, a former colleague to help him. The action moves backwards and forwards across the USA as the plot unfolds and more threats are made against the Vice-President. Reacher starts to make progress as the FBI become involved but then is badly shaken as someone in the team is killed. Reacher realizes that the FBI pursuing the wrong line and that he will have to confront the Vice-President with questions to solve the case. These questions reveal the identities of the perpentrators and sets Reacher on the path to eliminating the threat to the Vice-President.

This is another good story in the Reacher ‘take no prisoners’ method of crime fighting. Reacher is dangerous and it is best not to be the ‘bad guy’ when he is around.

This is book is really great. I have always been skeptical about American books and stories on how to feel better, live better. If you watch Dr.Phil or listen to W. Dyer, every second successful billionaire in America was either a high scholl drop out, buried in debts at 20 or a drug addict. This is why the book is so refreshing. Simple "down to earth approach". It sure will work in Europe as well

This is a great product for anyone trying to launch a new business on a shoestring budget. Most people have some level of familiarity with outsourcing, but Ferriss takes it to its most extreme use and shows how to make the most productive use of your time while delegating tasks that don't require your personal attention. I also purchased the hardcover book so that I would have a more convenient way to find the web resources he names throughout the book. This is a must-own for any aspiring entrepreneur.
